OUR PROCESS

  • Product Preparation
  • Water transfer Process
  • Finishing Process
  • Build & Install

This is probably one of the most important steps there is. We pre-clean the surface to remove any contaminates and then we use sandpaper to remove any finish off the product. We then wipe away and dust/dirt from the surface with a mild cleaning solution and water. We then rinse it thoroughly. After it is dry and completely clean we apply the primer and the base coat on the product in a thin, even layer. Once that step is complete, we let the product completely dry before continuing onto the next step.

During this step the client selects a patter that comes printed on a water-soluble vinyl film strip. We cut the film, so it fits the size of the product. We fill our water tank with warm water that is high enough to submerge the product without water spillage. We lay the film on the surface of the water and check for any bubbles under the film. We allow the film to hydrate before spraying a thin layer of chemical activator onto the film. Once the film strip looks liquified we put on gloves, and we slowly and precisely dip the object into the water at an angle until it is completely submerged onto the film strip.

Once we finish with the water transfer process, we rinse off any residue or contaminants that might be left on the project using our custom-made rinse tanks. After a final rinse process, the product is dried off before we apply a high-grade finishing clear coat. We have multiple types of clear coats such as matte, gloss, or flat. The product is then inspected before being packaged and returned to the customer.
